In their desire to support, cheer, and resource congregations who wish to better engage and embrace next generations, the North American Division [NAD] is developing leaders from each of its nine unions to train and present Growing Young Adventists [#GYA]. Over the next several years, these point persons will encourage and equip Adventist communities who want to grow young. The #GrowingYoungAdventists endeavor hopes to hear many stories of local churches, conferences, and unions who have benefited, and have built long lasting relationships with their young people.

“A great group of Adventists joined the Growing Young Cohort Summit at Fuller Youth Institute to experience a comprehensive church training model to unleash the potential of our congregations to engage the next generation. The two days spent together were filled with excellent conversation, quality training, and strategic planning about how the Seventh-day Adventist Church can grow young, better accomplish it’s mission, and build healthier and more vibrant local churches for every age demographic. I am so thankful to call the people in these photos colleagues and friends. Together, empowered by Holy Spirit, change is not only possible, but it will happen.” –Benjamin Lundquist

Completion of the training is slated for Spring of 2018, and the speakers will come available soon after.
